Views from the shelter

Pictures are windows and throughout them our view is enhanced. The aim of my painting is looking into the soul of the beholders.

This work is focused on a series of pictures and drawings somewhere between figuration and abstraction. Being inspired by nature, light becomes a vital element in my plastic discourse, where I express emotional states.

The eye of the beholder can thus explore a world of emotions, encouraged by the power of suggestion and the boosting of empathy regarding emotional condition.

Landscapes and natural elements in this work are expressed through the reduction of chromatic, structural and formal factors.

“My painting seeks the soul of the beholder”

Starting from a conceptual point of view, windows are opened to imaginary and intimate spaces where we are invited to recreate in a state of silence and stillness.

The need to communicate my feelings leads me to the experimentation and use of graphic and pictorial techniques, which are melting in the picture to communicate and create this rather uncer tain space and time.

In this way we open to suggestion, coming closer to our visceral side, the world of ideas… These paintings, ultimately, try to make a deep, profound reflection inside human beings, their identity and how they adapt to the wild.
